Feast Down East Announces Fundraiser with Taste Carolina Tours and More
Partnering with local businesses for fundraisers benefiting the nonprofit Feast Down East’s mission
WILMINGTON, NC (March 12, 2024) – On March 28 and 30, Taste Carolina Gourmet Tours will be partnering with local nonprofit, Feast Down East, showcasing local farmers’ products served at downtown restaurants, such as Seabird and PinPoint, while benefiting Feast Down East’s mission to strengthen Southeastern North Carolina’s food system.
Downtown Wilmington is a foodie’s dream, and the Taste Carolina tours get to the heart of this delicious area. Attendees will enjoy a unique tasting experience while visiting multiple restaurants on a guided walking tour. Along the way, they'll meet the city’s best chefs and learn about the historic downtown. Included are savory and sweet tastings at five locally owned restaurants, and most are paired with small alcoholic drink tastings. This is a fun and social fundraising event, all are welcome! Tickets are only $140 with a portion of proceeds benefiting Feast Down East.
