Join Feast Down East for an unforgettable evening at our Oyster Roast Fundraiser, featuring fresh, local oysters harvested by RX Chicken and Oysters.
Libations are generously sponsored by Mother Earth Brewing & Tito's Handmade Vodka!
This event isn’t just about great food and fun—it’s about making a real impact in our community.
Why Your Support Matters: Every ticket sold and every donation made will help advance Feast Down East’s mission of building a healthier, more vibrant Southeastern North Carolina by supporting our local farmers and ensuring fresh, affordable food reaches communities in need. As a nonprofit, we work tirelessly to provide local farmers with the resources they need to succeed, while also addressing food insecurity through programs like our Local Motive Mobile Farmers' Market, Food Rx, and Farmers Fighting Hunger.
Through initiatives like these, we’ve made a tangible difference:
- Over 237,000 pounds of local food sold annually
- More than $386,000 reinvested back into the hands of local farmers
- We’ve helped over 3,900 visitors access fresh food, with 34% using food stamps or vouchers, thanks to our partnerships and distribution programs.
What to Expect:
- Freshly Roasted Oysters: Enjoy oysters from RX Chicken and Oysters’ farm, along with other delicious fare.
- Libations & Music: Drinks and entertainment will keep the party going throughout the night.
- Education: Learn from marine biologist and estuary expert Byron Toothman, about the vital role oysters play in our marine ecosystem, and the ecological importance of healthy estuaries which cultivates healthy oysters.
- Silent Auction: Bid on fantastic items while supporting a great cause. Proceeds go directly toward sustaining our mission and programs.
Your attendance helps sustain programs that support local farmers and ensure vulnerable communities have access to healthy, local food.
Tickets are $75 and include admission, oysters, and 1 drink ticket. Register today to reserve your spot and contribute to our mission of supporting local food systems and reducing food insecurity.
