Food Hub Coordinator

Tessa grew up in a small agricultural town in northern Connecticut and cultivated a love of gardening and growing food at an early age from spending time in her paternal grandfather’s garden.

She received a BA in Sustainable Agriculture/Sustainable Food Systems from Green Mountain College in southern Vermont and has 15 years of experience in various facets of the food system. This includes working on many small scale farms focused on regenerative practices in the Northeast, Northwest and Southwest, managing a regenerative no-till micro-farm in El Paso, TX called Fossil Face Farms, and most recently working as Farm Fresh Coordinator at La Semilla Food Center in southern New Mexico. She feels grateful to have been able to spend her career helping to foster healthy food systems in many different regions and communities.

In her spare time she loves going to farmer’s markets, gardening, swimming in natural bodies of water, and seeing live music!
