Susannah is originally from Greenville, NC and is a two-time graduate of East Carolina University, getting both a BS in Public Health and a Master of Public Health degree, with her concentration in Community Health and Health Behavior. During graduate school, she focused her research efforts on nutrition-related topics such as the implementation and evaluation of Produce Prescription programs and summer produce box programs in various parts of Eastern NC. She found that she is passionate about creating sustainable change in the local food system and engaging with her community in a meaningful way.
When she is not working, Susannah enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, taking care of her many plants, and spending time with her friends and family.
