"I have been a social worker in the Cape Fear Region for the past 8 years, constantly looking at the social barriers like food insecurity which ultimately affect the mental and physical health of the patients within our region. I learned about Feast Down East three years ago, and love the mission as it brings together a macro and micro approach to addressing food insecurity in our region. I personally promote the Local Motive Mobile Market, as it works to strategically address the disparities in food access within our region by meeting people where they are. I joined the board of Feast Down East in February of this year, and love where the organization is going!"
